Having Full Mortality coverage does more than reimburse you for the cost of your dog -- it assures

that you will have the funds quickly enough to replace the dog right away.  Loss of a dog means

loss of income, and insurance cuts your downtime to a minimum.  No waiting for next year's

budget, pleading with city councilmen, or holding bake sales!

Full Mortality premium for most breeds is 6% of the insured value, with discounts
available for 3 or more dogs.

Veterinary coverage lets you and your vet treat your dog after accidents or when surgery is required without delay or quite the usual concern for expense.  The limit is $2,500/year with $100 deductible.

The Vet Endorsement premium is $150 per dog.

Disability, or Loss Of Use, can help replace a dog when he's injured too badly to work any longer

but not enough to justify euthanasia.  For example, if a dual-purpose dog is hurt in a traffic accident

to the extent that he'll never be able to do full patrol shifts, building searches, etc., we would pay

60% of his insured value.  That gets you most of the way back with a replacement, and you may

keep your dog and still use him for occasional drug, school, and PR work.

The Disability premium is 2% of the insured value.
