Insurance for horses of almost all breeds and uses has been a Classic specialty from the beginning.  From Full Mortality to Specified Perils, we can cover everything from large racing stables and breeding farms to a single pleasure horse.

Full Mortality plus Options

Full Mortality covers death due to accident, illness, or disease, with a few exclusions, on foals from 24 hours of age up through most or all of their useful lives.  It includes Emergency Colic Sugery and a 12-month extension. It's the most comprehensive policy available and can be enhanced by several optional coverages:

Surgical covers necessary surgical procedures with a $100 deductible.  Annual limits available from $2,500 to $10,000.

Major Medical includes Surgical coverage, but also applies to medically-treated conditions, with a limits from $2,500 to $12,500 and a $325 deductible.

Loss Of Use covers you when your horse sustains an accidental injury that permanently keeps him from his normal use.  You are then paid 60% of his insured value.

Miscellaneous options include various stallion infertility and prospective foal coverages, agreed value and guaranteed renewal, etc.

Note:  Not all Options are available with all uses.

Other Mortality Coverages

Specified Perils covers your horses for just that -- a specific list of perils.  Very inexpensive, it is perfect if you're concerned about disaster claiming a number of horses.  The perils include fire, lightning, transportation, earthquake, flood, hail, windstorm, explosion, and others.  Optional Perils such as drowning, building collapse, electrocution, attack by animals, and accidental shooting can be added.
